Reflecting on Earth Day

As you contemplate what this 40th anniversary of Earth Day means to you, remember that now more than ever we have the resources in place to change our attitudes toward—and use of—finite resources. In 1970, no one was discussing the future-facing effects of oil production, factory farming and climate change. No one was contemplating the need for corporations to assert responsibility for local communities and ecosystems.
