Andrew Walker is a graduate of the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Ryerson University. He has been a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 2002 and was the proud recipient of the Norm Neill Student of the Year Award in 2003. Andrew is the current chair of the Chapter’s CSR Task Force, and is also a member of the Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) and Net Impact (NI).
Andrew is currently pursuing a Masters in Environmental Studies (MES) degree and a Graduate Diploma in Business and the Environment at York University, with a focus on sustainable business practices within the meeting and event industry. In addition to his studies, he works part-time as a Graduate Assistant with the Faculty and as a consultant with York Sustainable Enterprise Consultants (YSEC). Nikki Wright, CAE is Vice President, Client Services of Fletcher Wright Associates Inc., an Association Management Company (AMC). MPI Toronto Chapter is one of 12 client associations that Fletcher Wright Associates provides AMC services for. Nikki is a graduate of Trent University (BA Hons, 1992) and has been an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 1994.
She was the recipient of the MPI Toronto Chapter President's Award in 2004. In 2009, she received her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives. She is a member of MPI, ASAE and CSAE. In addition to her association management career, Nikki is a hatha yoga teacher. In her free time, Nikki enjoys reading, travel, cooking and is a wanna-be gardener.
